SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER / DESIGNER

Remote
Employee
Product / Design

Description

We are the software where tedious paperwork will be turned into automagic workflows.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer/Manager/Leader that is able to manage the full cycle independently and goal oriented.

In our organisation product is the most important variable and constant. Product decides our roadmap, meaning what we build and how. Product decides how our most precious resource "engineering time" will be used. Product decides about our company's success. Therefore product leaders need to be able to constantly search, design, build, test, reiterate and they need to be able to communicate: Why? Why this feature? Why this solution? Why not all the other options?

Are you strong and self confident enough to calmly answer "the why"? - then: let's go on!

Tasks

Daily job description:

  1. identify & prioritize growth & engagement opportunities according to user feedback/tracking
  2. copy, steal, invent, adapt the simplest solution then design a beautiful and reduced UX/Ui for it
  3. write actionable ticket, communicate & reiterate with product- & tech-team, support buildingprocess, test & release
  4. communicate findings & usefulness internally & externally / communicate / communicate / communicate
  5. measure success
  6. repeat

That's the core job. It's an extremely important job. Do you have experience in this cycle? Are you comfortable with having more than one of these cycles constantly on rotation while managing people? Going from helicoptre view to detailed QA findngs?

Can you still find the calm to do focused work, although you are in the center of the storm? - then: let's go on!

Requirements

Skills that will really excite us:

  • someone with excellent communication skills and able to take a step back to break through gordic knots
  • someone who uses feedback to reiterate on solutions until designed flawlessly or until the hypothesis is proven wrong (and understands that both cases are a success)
  • someone with real experience in product usage tracking and/or accelerating growth loops
  • someone that has the technical depth / product management skills to find the best microservices / technical solutions

Do you fit one of these? - then: let's go on!

Benefits

A bit more insights to CAYA:

We are a team of senior builders and are trying to keep the team small, agile, fast and efficient. That is, because we learned: the product you build will eventually look like your team and its habits ;-)

We're a small team, but with a big vision. We love to build together. We all do our part to deliver max value to our users. We like to over prepare before we build, which does not mean that we do not adapt when necessary, but we try to avoid moving targets and try to cut down our releases to an achievable level. We try to avoid deadlines. Building is a marathon not a sprint. We are mainly based in Berlin, but are currently obviously working remote. And do have staff in Portugal and Hamburg. So remote is part of our DNA.

Understand what we are striving for: We're building a SaaS for companies and private people to manage all their workflows around documents. Our go to market strategy is unique, because we first take our customers' biggest pain their postal mail/paper away, by rerouting it to our scancentres. That way we win their realworld document inflow. Then we empower them with our CAYA SaaS - which is a toolbox that enables them to get that paperwork done efficiently.

Currently with this approach we convinced thousands of paying customers of our value. Our next evolution step is to become a pure SaaS player by increasing the value within our software and adding some growth loops. To do so we add digital sources for the PDF manager, enable sharing and will enable teams to work together on document based workflows.

Please think about how we work and whether you envision yourself in that environment: We are a B2B app for automating processes and increasing productivity when dealing with workflows around documents. If "making unsexy process joyfull" sound like a purpose that can fullfill you, then let's talk...

Curious? We look forward to hearing from you and what you can bring to our team!
