At CAYA we are by choice trying to keep the team senior, small, agile, fast and efficient. That is, because we learned: the code you build will eventually look like your team and its habits ;-)

We're building a SaaS for companies and private people to manage all their workflows around documents. Our go to market strategy is unique, because we first take our customers' biggest pain (their postal mail/paper) away, by rerouting it to our scancentres. That way we win their realworld document inflow. Then we empower them with our CAYA SaaS - which is a toolbox that enables them to get that paperwork done efficiently. Currently with this approach we convinced thousands of paying customers of our value. Next up, we want to become a purer SaaS player and increase the value without our scanservice.

We are mainly based in Berlin, but are currently obviously working remote. And we do have remote staff in Portugal and Hamburg. So remote is part of our DNA and also no problem.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in JavaScript (TypeScript)
  • Practical experience with React and React Native
  • Great understanding of the React component composition model and higher-order components
  • Practical experience developing complex front-end architectures
  • Ability to learn new development strategies and patterns

We are building our product with a small senior team of 5 developers, one designer, one PM and one product owner (separate small product team for marketing). We want to keep our engineering team small, because we believe in the power of quality over quantity. We therefore hire very slowly and selectively and will put you through a proper technical interview process, so that you and us can make sure that we really are a fit. Life is too short for not enjoying work together...
